What does this operation involve?

A short-scar thigh lift removes and reshapes a limited area of lax skin at the upper inner thigh. The scar is shorter than in a standard vertical thigh lift, but the procedure can correct only the tissue that can be safely mobilised towards it. Careful selection is important: choosing a short scar where laxity extends further down the leg may leave residual looseness.

01

When it may be considered

  • Mild to moderate laxity concentrated in the upper inner thigh
  • Stable weight and realistic expectations of a limited correction
  • Little significant skin excess extending towards the knee
02

Your operation

  • A tailored scar placed high on the inner thigh, sometimes with a short extension
  • Removal and secure suspension of selected upper-thigh tissue
  • Liposuction may be added where it supports the contour and can be performed safely
03

Recovery and aftercare

  • Gentle walking is encouraged early, with activity increased gradually
  • Temporary swelling, tightness, bruising and altered sensation are expected
  • Compression, wound care and return to exercise are tailored to healing

Designed around your anatomy.

The location and direction of skin excess, inner-thigh contour, skin quality, previous scars, weight stability, general health and the outcome you hope to achieve are assessed together.

You will receive a clear explanation of the proposed scar, whether liposuction may be appropriate, lymphatic and wound-healing considerations, material risks, alternatives and the expected recovery before deciding how to proceed.

Useful information

01How short is the scar?+

Its length depends on the amount and direction of skin excess. It is shorter than a full vertical scar, but the precise design can be confirmed only after examination.

02Will it tighten the whole inner thigh?+

No. It is intended for laxity concentrated high in the thigh. Tissue extending significantly towards the knee usually requires a longer pattern for meaningful correction.

03Can liposuction be included?+

Sometimes. Liposuction is considered according to fat distribution, skin quality and the need to preserve safe tissue and lymphatic drainage.
