What does this operation involve?

A mini arm lift removes a small amount of loose skin from the uppermost inner arm through a scar designed to sit close to the armpit. Its reach is deliberately limited, so careful selection is essential: it cannot correct laxity that continues significantly towards the elbow.

01

When it may be considered

  • Mild skin laxity confined to the uppermost arm
  • Stable weight and realistic expectations of a limited correction
  • Patients wishing to avoid a scar extending along the arm
02

Your operation

  • A tailored excision close to the armpit
  • Secure reshaping of the upper-arm tissue
  • Selective liposuction may be combined when appropriate
03

Recovery and aftercare

  • Gentle arm movement and walking are encouraged early
  • Temporary swelling, tightness and bruising are expected
  • Lifting and strenuous upper-body exercise are restricted during early healing

Planned for your pattern of excess.

Your skin quality, tissue distribution, shoulder and arm contour, previous scars, general health and the result you hope to achieve are assessed together.

You will receive a clear explanation of the proposed scar, whether liposuction may be appropriate, material risks, alternatives and the expected recovery before deciding how to proceed.

Useful information

01Where is the scar?+

It is planned close to the armpit, although scars are permanent and may remain visible in certain positions.

02Will it tighten the whole upper arm?+

No. A mini arm lift is intended for mild laxity near the armpit and has limited effect further down the arm.

03Can liposuction be included?+

Sometimes. This depends on fat distribution, skin quality and whether liposuction supports a smooth, safe contour.
